Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

A deeply supported healing experience for mothers navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions

A softer way into yourself. A clearer way out of what’s been weighing on you.

You have read the books. You have done the therapy. You have tried the supplements, the meditation apps, and the self care routines. And you still feel like something fundamental hasn't shifted.

It's not for lack of trying or investment. It's information from your nervous system that something is stuck and needs a little extra help in shifting.

Some pain lives so deep in the nervous system that traditional approaches simply can't reach it. Talking can only get you so far and sometimes even somatic therapy alone doesn't feel safe enough to the system.

KAP creates that safety. The medicine gently lifts the curtain on what you haven't been able to touch yet, and I am right there with you when it does.

This is not about escaping your life. It's about finally having enough inner space to breathe, feel, and reconnect with the version of you that has been buried under everything you've been carrying.

What KAP Is

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines low-dose ketamine (prescribed through Journey Clinical) with a therapeutic process tailored for mothers.

Ketamine supports:

Neuroplasticity - the brain's powerful ability to shift pathways of thinking and understand our lives from a new perspective.

Emotional openness - safely being able to view painful events from a position of curiosity rather than overwhelm.

Pattern shifts - the ability to see how you are repeating patterns that you don’t want to keep, and learn to ditch them over time.

Near instantaneous relief from depressive and anxious symptoms

Therapy helps you make sense of it and integrate the insights learned while you were with the medicine, into your everyday life.

You are never alone in this safe, FDA approved, and evidence based process. Sessions are guided, supported, and grounded.

How Ketamine Feels

Most clients describe ketamine as:

Calm

Expansive

Insightful

A temporary sense of stepping outside the mental loop

During the dosing phase (60 - 90 minutes), you may feel far from your body or immersed in imagery or emotion.
When you return to baseline, we shift into therapy to help translate the experience into meaningful change.

The Process - What to Expect

1. Initial Consultation

We get on a call and talk about what you're carrying, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to shift. If KAP feels like the right fit you'll be referred to Journey Clinical for a simple medical screening and prescription.

2. Preparation Session

Before your dosing session we meet to prepare you fully for the experience. We talk about intentions, mindset, and what to expect. If you want to prepare something meaningful for your space — an altar, a particular song, a prayer or meditation — we plan that together here. This session is the foundation that makes everything that follows more meaningful.

3. The Dosing Session - Your 3.5 Hour Healing Retreat

This is where the magic happens and it looks nothing like a typical therapy session.

You are in your own home, in your own space, in complete comfort. Your partner can be there if you want them or this can be entirely your time with just me. I arrive and we settle in together before you take the medicine.

For 60 to 90 minutes you journey with the ketamine. I hold the space while you go inward; into imagery, emotion, memory, and sometimes places you didn't know you needed to visit.

When you return to baseline we take a gentle break. I prepare a light meal for you because you have been fasting and your body needs nourishment. We might color together (I bring the supplies). We might walk if you feel up to it. We drink tea. We breathe. There is no rush and nowhere else to be.

Then we move into integration, using whatever modality feels right in the moment, whether that's somatic work, ART, or simply talking through what came up. The session closes when YOU are ready, grounded, and held.

Most women describe this experience as the most sacred and surprisingly joyful thing they have ever done for themselves since becoming mothers.

4. Integration Session

About a week later we meet virtually to explore what has shifted, what is unfolding, and what wants attention next. This is where insights get anchored into real life change.

Most women experience meaningful shifts after just one session. Many choose to pursue a full series of 6 to 8 sessions for deeper and lasting transformation.
