Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART) for Moms in California

ART is not like any therapy you've tried before.
Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, author of The Body Keeps the Score, once shared something one of his teachers told him early in his career about trauma healing. The message was simple: if you just want someone to tell you their story, take them to a bar and buy them a drink. Real healing is something different entirely.
His point being that talking about trauma may bring temporary relief but it doesn't actually help the brain and body heal. And if you've spent time in traditional talk therapy circling the same painful stories without feeling fundamentally different, you already know this in your bones.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART®) is a brief, structured form of psychotherapy that helps you recover from distressing experiences, emotions, and sensations that feel stuck in your mind or body. Using gentle, guided eye movements and visualization techniques, ART helps your brain reprocess troubling memories in a way that reduces emotional pain while preserving the facts of what happened.
Here is the part that surprises most people: through this process your brain can safely update a memory by removing or replacing the images connected to it, so that it no longer triggers the same distress, fear, or physical tension you've been carrying. And you don't have to describe your trauma in detail to get there.

ART might be exactly what you've been looking for if...
You've done talk therapy and feel like you never quite got to the root of it and...
You want real progress without committing to months or years of weekly sessions.
You carry anxiety, mom rage, or emotional reactivity that you can see in yourself but can't seem to stop.
You have a trauma history that you're not ready or willing to talk through in detail.
You are a busy mom with a very full life who needs therapy that works efficiently and respects your time.
You've tried everything and you are ready for something that actually moves the needle.
Here's what an ART session actually looks like.
We begin by identifying what we're working on together. It might be a specific memory, a recurring feeling state, a pattern you keep repeating, or something in your body that never quite settled after a hard experience.
Then I guide you through a series of gentle, rhythmic eye movements while you focus on the distressing image or feeling. Between sets I may ask you to notice shifts in your body, your emotions, or the imagery that comes up. Through a process called Voluntary Image Replacement, your brain begins linking new, non distressing information with the original memory so that it loses its emotional charge.
You are in control the entire time. You don't have to explain your whole history or relive your pain. You simply follow the process and let your brain do what it already knows how to do when it finally feels safe enough.
Most sessions end with clients feeling noticeably lighter and calmer than when they walked in.

How It Works
Step 1
Free 20 Minute Consultation
We hop on a call and talk about what you're carrying and what you're hoping to shift. If ART feels like the right fit we'll get you scheduled for your first session.
Step 2
Your 90 Minute ART Session
We identify what we're working on, then I guide you through a series of gentle eye movements that help your brain safely reprocess the memory or feeling state. You stay in control the whole time. Most clients leave feeling noticeably lighter.
Step 3
Real, Lasting Shifts
Most clients see meaningful results in just a few sessions. This is not a commitment to ongoing weekly therapy. It's a focused investment in getting to the root of what's been simmering and finally feeling different on the other side.
The Investment
